McLaren Teases Second Generation Super Series Reveal for Geneva Motor Show

Check  out McLaren teases second generation of supper car and explain more about them.

Set to make its debut on March 7 at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show, McLaren will unveil its new second generation Super Series boasting a blend of extreme performance and driving sophistication that’s unmatched in the supercar segment. Reaching 200km/h in 7.8 seconds and braking to a complete stop in just 4.6 seconds, the next-gen Super Series boasts stopping power that’s as impressive as the acceleration.

The exceptional braking capabilities were perfected during rigorous development and testing, the most dynamic program ever undertaken by McLaren. Lighter, stiffer brake calipers and carbon-ceramic discs are fitted as standard. Optimised brake pedal feel, and modulation is key to delivering the incredible stopping power while incorporating bespoke Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres developed for the new model. Pirelli’s new tyres support a six per cent improvement in mechanical grip compared to the McLaren 650S.

The extreme performance and dynamic prowess of the second-generation Super Series, honed by testing at the limits and beyond, provides the perfect foundation for it to be the most complete supercar across the full range of use,” explained McLaren Automotive Chief Test Driver, Chris Goodwin. Goodwin is the driver testing the next-gen Super Series in the video featured above.
