Chip Davis has passed away suddenly. He was confirmed dead on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 after several social media publications were released informing the general public of his tragic death. He died leaving behind his family, friends and loved ones whose hearts are scarred after learning of his sudden death.
Who was Chip Davis?
Chip Davis was a Technical director at Davidson College. He was also a Former Technical Director at Northwest School of the Arts. He studied at Indiana University, Went to Forbush High, Studied at University of North Carolina at Asheville. He was a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina where he lived until the time of this death.
Chip was all light—warm, leisurely sunshine as well as a dazzling, flickering flame. His arms were open to everyone with love, genuine hospitality, and generosity; his grin was always genuine and easy, his laugh contagious. His intellect was constantly active and problem-solving. He had an unmatched talent for discovering what someone else was passionate about, connecting that passion with his own in a genuine way, and then adding warmth, humor, and excitement to that connection to create genuine friendships that lasted wherever he went.
