More stories about Him
46 wrestling championships were held by Cormier during his career. As a member of a tag team with his three brothers—all of whom were professional wrestlers—he won several titles. Long-running storyline feuds with wrestlers like Bret Hart and Cuban Assassin were among them; he eventually made amends with both and teamed up with them to win tag team titles. Following his 1992 retirement, he continued to coach a large number of wrestlers for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In addition to competing sometimes in wrestling contests, Cormier received honors from Stampede Wrestling, which inducted him into their hall of fame, and the Cauliflower Alley Club, a fraternal organization of professional wrestlers.
