About Robert Mangano
Rob Mangano, a resident of Plainview, began his new position as a deputy public works commissioner on January 1, 2011, earning a yearly salary of $100,881. This represents a raise of almost $15,000 by comparison to his prior position with the Nassau County Police Emergency Ambulance Bureau.
His role as a liaison between the public works department, public safety officers, and fire districts was one of the reasons that Oyster Bay employed him. According to the officials, Mangano filled a position that had been vacant since a retirement occurred the previous year.
