A nine-year-old Durham child went missing on Thursday night, prompting the issuance of an Amber Alert. Geon King-Parriett weighs 100 pounds and stands 4 feet 10 inches tall. Sweatpants and a black hoodie were his last known outfits.

The alert states that Geon is thought to be with his biological mother, 33-year-old Mariah King. She has brown hair and brown eyes, standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She had on a black crop top and gray sweatpants.
They were last seen walking on South Benjamine Street, according to the police, and anyone who knows where they are should contact Durham Police at 919-475-2511 or 911.
